Tips
  • Take time to identify what you would like to do. Here are some options - you can go the "Citizen Journalist" route, report on the event in your city, interview participants or winners, take video/audio interviews of your classmates and friends, and post them. You can also do the "research" mode, where you can collect and contribute IT related knowledge, questions and interesting facts similar to what you would come across in an IT Wiz quiz. Yet another way is to help others with quizzing tips and techniques, best practices, and other similar trivia.
  • Research blogging platforms and templates and chose the one which suits your idea the best.
  • Seek out help in understanding blogging from your teachers, family and friends
  • Look around on the Internet for ideas. However, do not copy the ideas. You will easily be detected and disqualified.
  • Review your posts for grammar and spelling before you post. It is always a good habit.
  • If you are taking a video, use easily available software such as Microsoft Movie Maker to edit, if required.
  • If you are going the audio blogging route, you can use a digital voice recorder or your mobile phone to record interesting sound bytes.
  • Most of all, enjoy, and learn.
